Car donation makes huge difference
Last month the Freemasons at Sussex Masonic Charities presented a new Dacia Duster motor vehicle to the Hospice, to support our new provision of a community occupational therapy service.
This incredible donation is used by the Occupational Therapists who, alongside their Wellbeing colleagues, help people with life-limiting illnesses to maintain their independence and function for as long as possible.
St Michael’s Hospice Senior Occupational Therapist, Nikki Bentham says “The car will help our team to provide timely assessments and targeted interventions both to in-patients at the Hospice wishing to return to their home, and to those already living in the community of Hastings and Rother who wish to remain in their own homes. Thank you again from both of us to the Freemasons at Sussex Masonic Charities for their generous donation, and from all those who will benefit from this wonderful gift going forward.”
