Supporting the Hospice this Christmas

This festive season the Hospice has a variety of ways you can help support our vital services.

Our 2021 Christmas card collection is now available (by mail order only), which includes a new design, exclusive to the Hospice, painted by local artist, Tracey Brown. Tracey is incredibly supportive of the Hospice, offering her charming designs each year. This year’s card is a wonderful snowy scene looking out across Hastings Old Town to the sea, featuring children playing. All the cards come in packs of 10 cards for £3.50. A variety of alternative Christmas cards, not featured in the 2021 collection, are also be available from the Hospice shops.

The 2022 calendar includes a stunning collection of 12 scenes from Hastings and Rother, by local artists and is £7.50. Order your cards and calendar by completing the order form and returning it to us with payment, or call 01424 456396.

If you’re looking to go eco-friendly this Christmas, why not join the Hospices’ Christmas card appeal? The Christmas card appeal, offers family, friends and colleagues to spread festive cheer, reduce waste and raise funds by writing Christmas messages to one another in one large shared card? We will provide a complimentary card, so all that is left to do is place the card and a collection pot somewhere visible, and ask those who sign the card make a donation (just remember to consider safe and hygienic ways to take part). For more details, or to order a card call 01424 456396, or email fundraising@stmichaelshospice.com.

The Lottery team have launched a box of six eco and recyclable* luxury Christmas crackers each containing a £1 scratch card, for just £13. Each scratch card includes two games, so they’re twice the fun! The crackers are available to order directly from the Hospice Lottery team on 01424 456384 or by email email lottery@stmichaelshospice.com, alternatively you can pick them up from the Hospice shops.

If you are planning to tune in for the virtual Lights of Love service this year on Sunday 12th December, a special Lights of Love candle can be used as part of the online service, and for you to enjoy in your home. Pick up a candle from the Hospice shops or by mail order.

If online shopping is your thing, the eBay store is full of fantastic pre-loved toys, games, puzzles and festive gift sets and homeware which make presents for loved ones.

If you choose to shop with Amazon you can support the Hospice by choosing them as your charity of choice on all purchases, visit www.smile.amazon.co.uk to select the Hospice.
